I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood,

and I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
— Robert Frost

I love fall walks. I love the crisp breeze, the crunching of leaves, the snapping of twigs, spying deer in the woods, and the colors all round.

I love watching the boys explore and make pretend they are explorers lost in a deep forest. Though, this usually leads to sword fighting with sticks and a time out. But we enjoy the peacefulness while it lasts..

great post and i also love walks this time of year! i can't figure out where you are on this one... i had a good giggle at the stick swords and eventual time outs -- it is so hard for us, as women, to raise boys who are such boys boys -- and to help define when is fun and when is simply "too much".... glad you are enjoying these amazing fall days!
Amy-its at heebner park-one of our faves!
