Thankful

Its that time of year to remember all we are thankful and of course most of all, we are thankful for you guys!
You made us a family and you keep our lives filled with laughter, love and chaos!
November has been a month of enjoying some fall weather, out on hikes, playing out back, tossing the football and playing with friends.

Basketball is in full swing for you Alek and you are also enjoying your Speed and Agility training class.  They work you hard but you hang in there!  Of course you are excited to be on same team as Xander again. This year you are the Indiana Hoosiers! It has been great watching your basketball game improve!

Maks you are still working hard at your weekly gymnastics class, though in true Maks fashion you have had enough and wish to pursue something else next session--requests have ranged from karate class to bowling lessons.  You crack us up!!

We were able to escape for a night in NJ at B and H's house which of course is the coolest house ever, what kid wouldn't want to visit there. So much to do. Usually we are there in warm weather and you can enjoy the pool, but this year no pool, but so much other fun stuff in the house from ping pong to foosball to pinball, football outside, you guys love it there! We took a ride to go crabbing which seemed silly giving how cold it was and even daddy said the crabs were probably hibernating, but oh well it was still fun to walk to the back bays and see how beautiful it was. The road in was torn up from Sandy, but the sunset was worth ever large hole we had to avoid and especially the big one you wiped out in Alek! it was a fun weekend!!

Thanksgiving was at our house this year. I love getting up, making my pumpkin pie and banana bread while the Philly parade is on.  Alek you went with daddy, Dennis and Jr to the Springfield football game and Maky hung out with me.

It was a little more hectic getting everything done than normal, but the bird got in the oven on time, again a beautiful one ordered via Merrymead.  Of course I ran out of foil so we needed to run out. We made a quick pitstop to see LaLa, Jimmy, Jake, Kait and T at their annual football game.  Maks you were invited in to play, but you were more content to explore the nearby trees to climb.

We headed home to finish the dinner prep and get ready for our guests. Daddy and Alek had a great time at the game and Springfield won.

Pop and Noni came by for appetizers and brought you some cool t-shirts from Sedona along with special wishing magnets. They had pictures of great danes and you were supposed to wish on them to make your dream of a dog come true. Pretty cool!!!
Grammom, Poppy, Granny and JoJo all came over for dinner.

It was hard this year missing MeMe and not being able to talk to her on Thanksgiving, but we know she was watching us, along with PopPop from heaven.
We had a great dinner with lots of laughs, especially when Maks told everyone how daddy borrowed his $20 to buy beer.  Maks leave it up to you to just lay it all on the table!
It was a nice evening and the food turned out great!

Saturday we continued some holiday weekend fun by heading to LaLa's so you could play with Jake and we could visit with Kait and TT while they were home from school. We missed Krissy though and look forward to seeing her at xmas!
It was a great holiday break with laughter, family, friends and fun.
And now....your favorite countdown begins....One month til Christmas!!!
