The birthday

Maks special day, October 12th, he is finally 6! So surreal to think it was 5 years ago we met him on his 1st birthday, what a long way he has come!
He had a day long celebration beginning at LL. We took in munchkins for his morning kindergarten class and he loved being the center of attention, Like he told Miss Sandy.."how do ya like them apples?"

For his class at GS we took in mini brownie cupcakes, which he said everyone loved. He got a sticker and special card from his teacher. I was worried about his behavior that day given the extra sugar and excitement, but he came home with all thumbs up on his sheet!

For his dinner, Maks requested sausage with cheese on roll. Interesting choice this year! So Kevin cooked up some sausage for the boys and I stuck with pasta.

He also requested ice cream cake, and this year I surprised him with an M&M one. Sadly I thought I had a whole box of candles, but I only had two. So Alek and improvised and placed big candles on the cake, Maks got a kick out of that!

He was very excited over his presents this year, a Darth Vader skate board and a punching bag and gloves from Alek. He also got 2 DVD's. He took the skate board right away, he has really good balance and the puching bag is a big hit.

What a good work-out!

What a happy and fun day it was for Maks. As I was kissing him good night, he said, "I like being six mom and mom you are my sweet, cutie mango". Gotta love this kid!

Maks 6 year old stats:

This boy is growing like a bad weed!! He has grown 4 inches since last year. He is now 48 inches tall and 52 pounds. He is now taller than Alek when Alek was 6! Alek better watch out, Maks is close on his heels!!
