It is November 16th. 4 years ago, we were in Moscow, on our way to Murmansk. We had said good bye to Alek knowing it would be over a week until we held him again, we cried and got on a plane for the long journey.
3 planes rides (each way)7 time zones
Only 4 hours of daylight waiting for us in Murmansk.
A gorgeous little red head waiting for us.
A court date.
We knew at the end of our journey, our family would be complete.
November is National Adoption Month,
November 20th is National Adoption Day.
November 20, 2006 we were officially declared the parents of Maks-Joseph.
November 25th is Thanksgiving.
November is family and friends,
November is a reminder of all we are grateful for.

Lots to be thankful for, for sure... congrats to all of you on your 4 years as a family! (Just last nite Alana was looking thru her life book - which is written in story form - and for the first time started asking about why she was living in the Big Green House)
