Yes, that is Maks as a Power Ranger, again...this year he chose the red one. Cracks me up, never seen the show, but seems to love the Power Ranger look. Friday was a busy day for the boys. Alek had his fall party in school, which he said was a blast. I, as homeroom mom, arranged it, so why wouldn't it be a blast--just kidding!! Wish I could have gone though.
Maks had his party and parade at LL. Since Alek had a half day, he was able to go back with Kevin to LL to watch the parade and best of all, they let him parade for old times sake--he was thrilled!Friday night, we got pizza and Kevin had a great fire going out back. I was exhausted, so looking forward to just relaxing. Jen stopped over to check out the new addition to the patio and we ended up having a fun night, relaxing and chatting by the fire with a nice chardonnay. The kids had a blast playing with Em and her friend, Blaire. Alek was completely smitten with Blaire, it was hysterical. He was by her side constantly. We had to remind of personal space. He was definitely working his ladies man routine. We are definitely in for it with this one!
Saturday morning brought Alek's final baseball game. He really enjoyed fall ball and we were very happy with this league. Alek was especially happy that LaLa came to cheer him on. It was brisk and chilly morning, so Maks preferred to watch from the warm comfort of the car. After baseball we headed down to Makenzie's 2nd bday! cannot believe she is 2, time flies too quickly. The kids had a blast hanging with Keke and Ry as well. It is really interesting to see the differences now between the girls and boys. The boys are really starting to prefer to be with boys and the girls preferring to be with the girls. They still have alot of fun together, but things are definitely changing in terms of how they play or what they play!!
Sunday was finally Halloween--the kids woke up pumped. They were so excited especially because we had promised they could over Jakey's to play. It was nice hanging out with LaLa and T while the boys played out back. They so love being with Jakey, he is a superstar in their eyes-I love it!
Soon it was time for costumes, BatMan and Red Power Ranger were ready to go. As usual the moms walked the kids around the block and the dads hung back to tend the fire and hand out candy. Rough job they have!!

We did the party pre-trick or treat this year due to it being Sunday. Kids had a lot of fun running around, playing, riding bikes and scooters. The food was yummy and those Blue Moons I was drinking when down smoothly!
Maks had a big milestone down there as he rode a bike without training wheels for the first time and rode he did. He loved it, he was soooo good at it, really amazed us with his balance. Alek is still all over the place on his bike and Maks was very steady. We were cracking up though as he was riding in his costume which was rather tight around his rear, coupled with the helmut we had flashbacks to Revenge of the Nerds! This kid cracks us up!!

It was definitely a brisk and chilly night here, perfect for Halloween!
It was another great weekend.
A ghoulish good time was had by all!!
Bring on November as we have so much to be Thankful for!
