Saturday marked 3 months since we arrived home with Maks. For all he has been thru in those couple months he has done so well. It really is amazing to see the difference from that first time we met him on October 12th, his first birthday, to now. It always is fun to look back on the pictures to see the changes in their color, their hair, the look in their eyes.
Here is a picture of Maks the day we met and then one from a couple weeks ago.
On our first visit to Maks he was 21.8 pounds and 28.5 inches. On his first doctor's visit home at the end of November he was 22.5 pounds and 29.5 inches.
Last week prior to surgery he was 25.5 pounds and 30 inches. So he is really doing well!!
We are now looking forward to Alek's 3rd birthday bash on Saturday, he is so excited for his "Buzzy" party, he wakes up each morning asking if it is his party today!! I know he will have a blast.

They do change so quickly. Maks looks great. I can't believe he's only been home for 3 months. It seems like much longer.

Oh Kris what a cuttie pie and wow such a difference a loving home makes:) Glad the surgery went well and hope the Buzz party is a hit, fun fun:)
