Here comes the sun!

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Murmansk, the sun is shining for the first time since we have been here, it is nice to see!
We had great visits with Maks last night and this morning. It is fun to see how much more his personality is coming out as he gets comfortable with us. He loves playing and throwing his blocks and balls, he is crawling fast everywhere and loves to hold your hand and walk. He is making alot more sounds and noises too which is great. It has been amazing to watch the transformation in only a few days!
We just got back from a quick tour of the city and went to see an amazing monument for the unknown soliders of WWII, it is so unbelievably tall! It is at the highest peak in the city so the views we had were spectacular of the city, the bay, the ships and the port. It was alot of fun and we got some great pics and video too!!
Kevin is off with our coordinator dealing with the passport stuff for Maks. Then we head back for another visit with Maks before his dinner.
Tonight is our last night alone--tomorrow morning we pick up Maks for good!!! We cannot wait!
Alek sounds like he is doing well and having fun with Noni. Today is his Thanksgiving celebration at school so I am sure he will have a great time! We miss him so much and cannot wait to see him in a few days!! I cannot wait to be holding both boys in my arms! My dream will be complete!

Congratualtions! I've been checking for updates and yesterday I was so happy to see the news! What an exciting time for you!
I would love to see your pictures when you get back since we didn't get to see much of Murmansk when we were there.
Have a great trip home and we'll look forward to hearing from you when you get a spare moment - hee hee. -Lisa

A sunny day in Murmansk in late November! Wow! Sounds like a perfect day for visiting Alyosha. :) What an amazing Thanksgiving for your family. You have something extra special to be thankful for every year now, the completion of your family.

I'm glad to hear that Maks' personality is shining through more and more. It is so amazing to see the kids come out of their shells and start to get happier and happier with their new family.

Best of luck on your journey to Moscow and getting everything taken care of at the Embassy. Hopefully you will have some beautiful weather there as well!
