We have had a couple visits with Maks, yesterday he was still fighting a cold. He is a bit leary around us which is good, he seems very attached to his main caregiver. He definitely prefers me and is slower to respond to Kevin. He did cry alot yesterday and prefered to be held close, which is fine with me, although he is a chunker! I am thinking my arms will be in great shape soon!
This mornings visit was much better, he had a huge smile when he saw us. He still was a bit leary but definitely started to play more and we saw how active he can be. He definitely is a little delayed physicially and probably speech wise, but nothing that overly concerns us. I also think he has ear infections in both ears. He is a cutie and his smile lights up a room! We also got to feed him lunch, the kid can eat! He ate a large bowl of potato, onions, carrot, beef stew and then drank a whole cup of juice and wanted more. It was easy to see where he gets his weight from. We head back shortly for another visit and then tomorrow morning is court! We are a little nervous and anxious about that but I am sure it will go fine.
Last night we went out shopping and had dinner at the pizza place we like. Then we hit the market and bought some stuff for movie night. It was great to find Lays potato chips! We bought back some beer and Russian champagne and watched Meet the Fockers--so it wasa fun night! Still cold here, low 20's today.
Alek sounds like he is having a blast at LaLa and Jimmy's and the reigns get handed over to Pop and Noni today, so hopefully that will go smoothly.

I am totally addicted to the site. Got in in the middle of the night last night. Will certainly be thinking of you this morning at 3am! Cannot wait to see some pictures and have you all home safe. I have been thinking of you guys nonstop!!!
