We made it! We had a very enjoyable flight from London to Philly in 1st class--JoJo ROCKS!!!!!
We pulled up to Grammom and Poppy's to see Alek waiting at the window, he started yelling mommy, mommy--he hugged us so tight, still yelling mommy and daddy!! It was so emotional!
It sounded like he had a blast with everyone this week. Toys were scattered all over Grammom and Poppy's house, so we know he was completely spoiled.
We finally arrived back to our house to a sign on our door from Jim, LaLa and the kids and a very cute photo story book of Alek's vacation at LaLa's--we were cracking up, it was so great to see how happy he looked, I know he had fun. It made the trip alot easier knowing he was in good hands while we were far away.
So, still no news on Maks. I did shoot off an email, so hopefully I will hear something tomorrow. This is really stressful, not knowing--I am trying hard not to dwell on it every minute, but I just want to know he is ok.
I want to thank everyone for their emails, their posts to the blog and their thoughts and prayers, it helped knowing so many people were thinking about us. It was such an emotional rollercoaster of a trip, but it helps so much to know that many people are pulling for you and supporting you every step of the way!
It was also great to have such wonderful travel companions and we truly hope we will be back in court together very soon!!!

Yeh yeh Kris welcome home, how wonderful it is to be home sweet home, so glad Alek's did great and praying you guys get a quick court date for little Maks.

I'm glad your visit to Murmansk went well, but I'm sorry to hear Maks had to go to the hospital! I hope you get some good news about him soon. Before you know it, you will be headed back to Murmansk to bring him home!
As an aside, was Tanya you interpreter? Did you also get to work with Yuri? They were our Murmansk team, and we thought they were excellent! If they are working for you guys, then you are in good hands.
Jenni--yes we used Tanya and Yuri, they were fabulous and made a stressful time alot easier.
