Really, chilly and windy ball field! 
Batter up, its that time of year again, our favorite sport.. 
BASEBALL!!! 
We switched leagues this season and so far we are happy, though the fields are all open, no trees around, so the wind is crazy, the temp is several degrees colder than home. So we bundle up and head to practice!
Maks finally started T-Ball, he was so excited. He is now officially a Royal and he is very proud of that and his new baseball hat. He has pretty well so far, just a little issue with the running. He hits the ball and stands there playing with the tee or watching how far the ball goes.
But, we talked about this, he got some coaching from Tim over the phone and next practice he was much better. T-Ball is a trip, the kids crack me up! Maks is so happy to be playing the game his big brother has been playing.
Alek was officially drafted to the Cardinals in the pony league. He was very stoked to find out his buddy from his class is on the team and his dad was the coach.

Tonight Alek was laying in our bed watching the game and I was dusting the TV, he said, "mom your blocking my view". I said, its no big deal, we are getting our butts kicked. He said, Mom, it doesn't matter if we are losing, I am just happy the Phillies are on and Mom, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, just that you have fun.
Keep up that great attitude Alek!

they are both getting so TALL!!! what are you feeding them over there?? :) so glad that all is well and they are doing so well... Alek's comment about moving from the TV cracks me up... such a smart kid! we hope to see you soon!
