Happy 6th birthday Aleksandr! You have brought us more joy and happiness then you will ever know. You were our dream come true. You continue to amaze us each day with your enthusiasm, your love for life and new adventures and your zest for knowledge. Yes you drive us crazy some days but you always know how to make us laugh. It is so hard to believe the little baby who was constantly drooling, who would sleep with his cute butt up in the air, who would turn his head back and forth to go to sleep, who would never be without his binky, is now half way through kindergarten looking forward to first grade. It seems like just yesterday we were snugged up with your bottle reading Good Night Moon and The Runaway Bunny and now you are reading to us! The time just moves too quickly and some days it feels hard to keep up.
You are an amazing, bright and curious boy and we love you so much. We are extremely lucky and proud to be your mom and dad.
Even though you are a big guy now, you will forever be our baby.

happy bday alek! LM is asleep and his last thought before he went down for his nap was "Ala Happy?" (which is you!) and i said "yup after your nap"!! we look forward to coming and celebrating with you!
