Hakuna Matata!

Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase....it means no worries for the rest of your days...
We've been singing that for the past few days!
Part of Alek's bday present were tickets to the Lion King and he was extra excited that he could bring his best girl, K. R and I took the kids, we got down to the city fast so we had time to grab a bite to eat. The kids looked so cute, their first theatre date!

We had great seats, a balcony box, so nice space to ourselves. The kids were so amazed from the moment the lights dimmed and the music started. This was my 4th time seeing the Lion King and definitely my best. Watching it through their eyes made it extra special. They were swaying to the music and patting along with the drums. They were mesmerized by the animals and the colors and the set. We were so entertained just watching them. Every so often Alek would slip his arm around K's waist and whisper something to her, we were cracking up!!
I love sharing new experiences and adventures with the boys and I love how they make them all new again for me. I look forward to the day when Maks has mastered the art of whispering and a longer attention span, so I can bring him to the Lion King! I know it will be a special time for him as well, and he can bring his date, R (K's sister). Yes, I have marriages arranged for the boys. I feel strongly about choosing my daughter in laws and in laws! (just kidding of course, but one can dream.....)

They look so stinking cute and so happy!! Everyone should be able to show such open pleasure in fun things of life!! I am sure it was so great watching them enjoy it, and enjoy it together! It's awesome they are the same age to enjoy some cool first fun times together!! I guess it's a good thing that you have only 2 boys, so LM has a shot at one of Mike and Cynthia's daughters! M is not yet "spoken for", at least not by one of your boys :) thanks for sharing the fun!
