-Kevin started work at his current company.
2000
-Y2K-wondering what the fuss was all about
-Still working hard at getting pregnant and in mid January we are surprised with a positive—finally, see a heartbeat a couple times, all is good.

-Kevin built a fish pond in our yard and refinished the basement.
-Excited at arrival of our nephew Jake in May-lots of fun to have a baby around!
-First of many surgeries began in the summer to rid myself of this endometriosis.
-Enjoyed a great vacation in Myrtle Beach with the Harkins gang.

Thanks for sharing your decade in review! I didn't realize how much you went through to start your family before pursuing adoption. You're a far braver person than I (needles - *shudder*). I also love that Brent was the person who restored your faith in adoption. He did the same for us after our first agency was so neglectful. Brent RULES. :)

Jenni--I wouldn't necessarily call it bravery, more like luck that our insurance covered it and we agreed we would only go as far as our insurance went, then it was time to move forward.

AMy-as you learned last night, not my memory, but my Wedding Anniversary Memory book. Writing it all down since after raising these boys and living with Kevin, I am sure my mind will be gone by the time I am 70! :o)
