Countdown, days 10 to 6

10 Days til Christmas and the sounds of coughing and sniffles are ringing through our house. Alek tells me his nose is tired of all the running it is doing, not to mention the issue of his "eyes leaking". Cracks me up when he says that! On another note, he did so great in the church play, he was angel and a donkey--we were very proud of him. Of course it wouldn't be our kid without something funny happening, as I was zooming in on his angelic face singing a beautiful song, I watch as his finger begins a journey into his nose, until he finds a winner! Such a beautiful moment, caught on tape forever!

9 Days til Christmas and my little loves are racing trucks around the house buck naked and laughing their little hineys off. Despite my head pounding from the noise, I can’t help but laugh.
Gotta love boys!

8 days til Christmas and my little love (Maks) gave to me a great laugh in his sweatshirt, tighty whitey underwear and flip flop ensemble. He is ready for the beach and has taken to sleeping with his flip flops on!

7 days til Christmas my little love (Alek) gave to me, the priviledge and pride of watching him skate well enough during test day to advance two levels! I love seeing him full of pride and excitement!

6 days til Christmas and I have the joy of watching my little loves perform together in their school show. Alek looking handsome in his shirt and tie and singing his heart out, Maks looking as cute as can be in his Santa hat with his rhythm sticks. The highlight was as all the kids are singing, “A few of my favorite things”, Maks is attempting to scale the large pole on the stage and pretty soon has 2 other little boys following him. I love it! These are the times that mean a lot. It wasn’t that long ago that these activites seemed like ones we may never get to experience.

Enjoy the video clip from the holiday show, you will notice the monkey scaling the pole on the left is Maks.

something about boys. LM insisted on putting on his snow boots and hat, with only a diaper and undershirt on tonight, running up and down the "hall" in our house.
how lucky we are to relish in the smiles and fun of our little men! :)

looking forward to living vicariously thru the bimini ones.
