Good bye May, hello summer!

My favorite time of the year, summer. Now I just want it all to slow down and not go by so fast. Which never happens because we stay so busy having fun all summer.

The last weekend in May was no exception and we had gorgeous weather to make it all the more fun. Saturday was Alek's All Star day for baseball. He had fun with the competitions but most of all enjoyed the free popcorn, his favorite!

That night Kevin and Alek joined our friends at Dave and Busters. Alek had a blast with the kids and all the games. He came home with some new friends, a GIGANTIC spiderman! This thing is almost as big as me. Megs and Will won it for me, he was so excited, though if you walk downstairs in the dark, it can scare the crap out of you, I thought it was a man sitting on the sofa. He also "won" a rainforest frog for Maks and a little bunny for himself, plus bubble gum which mommy quickly confiscated.

Maks and I had a date night, right up our alley. We went show shopping! Maks needed new sneakers and crocs, so he was very happy. Just like his mama, buy him shoes and he is complete! Then we went to Applebees for a nice dinner. It was fun to have the one on one time.

Sunday was another day of fun. I joined a couple members of my Rack Pack team for a training walk in Valley Forge Park, what a gorgeous morning it was. I love it there, it is so beautiful to walk and look at the rolling hills and see the deer grazing in the in the fields. So peaceful. We got 5 miles in, so that was great!

Alek and Kevin went to the Phillies game with Jimmy and Jakey, great seats right near the field. They had a blast.

I had a very special baby shower to go for Amy, Jeff and the little Man. So Susan was kind enough to come up and play with Maks. As he says, I love Susan. She even earned more points as she brought along a Happy Meal. Thankfully Maks napped most of the time for her, but the rest of the time was spent bike riding, well Maks riding and Susan chasing.

The shower was very nice, the food and drink were amazing and it looks like Little Man is set for all his needed kid stuff.

The last weekend of May was very nice. We are looking forward to our busy June, already have every weekend booked. I will be working on getting all our stuff for the yard sale together this week. Our yard sale to benefit our 3 Day fund is saturday. So far looks like the weather will be nice, so that is perfect! Raffle sales are going well too. I was very excited to see today that our team had surpassed our goal of 15k and we still have 4 months to go! So we set a new goal of 20k and I feel pretty confident we will make it.
