Big Papa's Birthday and First TBall Game

The big guy had another birthday. The first question Alek asked when I told we would have daddy's cake and presents after dinner was what kind of goody bags daddy was giving out. He wasn't too happy to hear that you don't get goody bags at grown-up birthdays. So he doesn't want to grow up.

The weather was gorgeous so we had dinner and cake outside.

Alek had his first TBall game. He was a dragging a little, not sure if he was tired or uninspired or irritated over the fact he couldn't have the juice boxes I bought for team snack right away. I think it was a combo.

He was very happy to get his new shirt and hat and to find out he got Daddy's favorite number, 5.

But he did well, he hit good and played the field pretty well. He was a little too aggressive. He wanted every ball, so after a couple times of running from his shortstop position to first base area, he finally got the hint to stay his position.

He seemed to like being in the field more than batting, which was funny.

he did a good job and had fun!
