Alek had his 5th birthday last week. It was the week of Alek for sure! On his birthday, March 4th, he requested his favorite dinner of ham, mac and cheese and broccholi. This was followed up but football ice cream cake and of course presents! The big hit was the remote control truck daddy bought him, though I think daddy has played with it the most!
That Saturday we had Alek's party. The night before was rough because it was the night we said good bye to Corie. Having Alek's party helped keep all of us distracted.
His party was at the Little Gym for 20 of his friends and family. They had a blast, it was very cute and the staff did a tremedous job given the varying age ranges and the wild, excited kiddos (especially mine)!
Afterwards family met us back at the house for dinner, more cake and more presents. It was a great day and Alek had a blast. He is loving his new toys and loves being 5!

Alek looks like he had a blast on his birthday! Hard to believe he is 5. I see he is also a Spiderman fan...Luca is currently into Spiderman and Batman.
