Wow, it seems so surreal that my little baby is now 5 and will be going to kindergarten. It just amazes us how fast it all went. I mean, the wait to become a parent seemed like an entire lifetime to and now it is just flying by.
Alek, you are such an amazing little man. I can't even begin to describe the joy, love and chaos you have brought into our lives. It is a daily adventure. Watching you grow from this tiny, underweight, pale little baby, to a tall, active, brillant, busy, coordinated and still skinny boy has been a dream. Even though you test our patience and sanity at times, we love you so much and are so blessed and grateful to be your parents. You made us a family, you were the miracle we prayed for and waited so long for. You are a wonderful big brother to Maks and it makes my heart smile to see how much he looks up to you and how much patience you have with him. I love that you are not only brothers you are true buddies.
While it makes mommy a little sad to see you growing so fast, we look forward to watching you move into this next amazing stage of your life.
