Well after leaving 6 voicemails for 4 different people at the IU today, one person called me back wondering why I had not sent the consent form back in for his evaluation at school tomorrow. She said she didn't even know I left massages? Seriously, I cant believe how ridiculous this is. I told her they were not to evaluate without me present. I explained how upset I am over the lack of communication and the fact glowing reports come home from his therapist yet no one else notices any improvement since October. I asked it this was a ploy so they wouldn't have to pay for services? I felt bad going off, but I am irritated. It shouldn't have to be this complicated!
So, now we are set up for the full eval at the IU next Tuesday, with everyone, including myself present. I am happy for the moment, but still skeptical. We will see, bottom line is he needs continued services for speech and he will get them, whether it is through the IU or privately.
On happier news, we booked a family trip to Florida for the end of March! Yes, I am getting Kevin to Disney!! Well, we are actually going to Clearwater to watch the Phillies take on the Yankees during spring training and then we will also head over to the Magic Kingdom for a day. I cannot wait to see the boys reactions when they see their favorite characters live and in person--so exciting!!
Our hotel is right on the beach with lots of activities for the kids. I was just checking out Busch Gardens too (thanks Kristen for the tip) and it looks like Alek will love the jungle animal attractions and Kevin will love the "Busch" attractions! I love having a warm weather escape to look forward to, helps makes the winter seem a little less dreary!

Sorry to hear you are having so many problems with them. I do hope you get the outcome you are hoping for.
On a side note, I am excited you are coming to Clearwater. Can't wait to meet up with you. You all will have a great time at Busch Gardens.
