Not much of winter here, I don't think we have had any measurable snow yet!! So I took the boys up to the Poconos to Jimmy and LaLa's cabin to find some snow, thankfully it was still there! The boys had a great time sledding. Alek has no fear and loved going fast. He also got his first sledding injury thanks to mommy, as I was trying to slow him down, my ring caught the outside of his lip and he also bit the inside, so lots of blood, but I think he enjoyed the fact I was letting him eat the snow to stop the bleeding! He was a tough guy though, got right back out there.
I was worried Maks would be afraid of sledding. He did great though, big smile as he rode down with me. Of course though he was his happiest hanging at the bottom of the hill where all the snacks were. He loved it when LaLa gave him his own bag of doritos-life was good.
It was a fun day for sure and Alek keeps asking to go back.
We are due for some snow tomorrow and of course some wintry mix in there, so who knows what we will end up with, I do hope enough is there to pull out the sleds for the kiddos tomorrow~
