24 hours to go!! I can't believe it is finally here. I am again filled with the wide range of emotions, excitement, anxiety, fear, stress. I can't wait to get there andhold and hug Maks again, but I also can't believe we have to be away from Alek for 10 nights!!
Starting the actual packing last night, hard to do with all these warm weather clothes! Maks is packed and ready, so that just leaves us and the donations.
Alek's schedule is set, he is with Jim and Laurie tomorrow night thru Sunday, then Pop and Noni take over at our house from Sunday to Wednesday, then Grammom and Poppy come over Wednesday to Saturday and then we are home!
All of Alek's special presents are wrapped and ready for him.
The forecast doesn't seem as bad as it was last week. Looks like Moscow is snowy/cloudy in low to mid 30's and Murmansk is snowy and cloudy, low 20's (last week was in single digits!).
The donation bag is overflowing thanks to my generous co-workers!! We have lots of clothes and diapers and blankets to bring over. We are so grateful!!!
Today is last day of work. Lots to clean up and then head home to finish up the packing!!
