I can't believe Alek is 2!! (although he will tell you he is 3) The time has gone by so fast. Yesteday was his party, he had such a blast with his Elmo theme--he is completely spoiled and now has tons of toys for the outdoors (sandbox, water fun table, swing/playset, John Deere tractor, golf clubs, trucks, sand toys) along with lots of great new arts/crafts activities, bath tub fun toys, clothes, and a beautiful new wooden rocking chair from his Me-Me (great-grandmom). Alek especially loved having two of his cousins and his friend stay over last night and we all had a great breakfast of pancakes and bacon cooked by the most amazing chef in the world!! We also have settled on a new homestudy agency--so I am gathering the required documents for them and hope to have our first interview in the next week and a half. I truly forgot how much paperwork there is and it is even harder to do it when you are chasing after a very active toddler!!
