And so we begin again..

After several weeks of negotiating and discussions, the decision was made on 2/24/06 to return to Russia for our second adoption. We are both extremely excited and nervous about starting the process again, the paperwork, the finances, and then of course, being parents to 2 kiddos!! Life is sure going to change! It is hard to believe that it has been a year and half since the above pics were taken!!
We have decided to request a little girl under 18 months, we would love her to be between 12-15 months and have the kids close in age. We also would love to return to Kirov, but will be open to any region that doesn't require a flight inside of Russia (we all know how much Kevin loves flying!!), so train or car will do!!
First things first, let the paperwork begin....
Since everything from the first time around is expired, we start again.
I600A was completed on 2/26 and will be submitted to the Philly BCIS office.
Child Abuse and criminal record checks were ordered on 2/27.
Next up, homestudy re-do, which we were informed shouldn't take too long at all!!

We are hoping to have a referral by late summer, early fall, so keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned.....
